GLAUBEN

I'm thrilled to share a preview of Glauben, a stunning new film by Aschenaura, blending contemporary dance and opera, and featuring aesthetic influences from 1920’s Berlin. Directed by Carmine De Amicis and produced by Veronica Furman.I immensely enjoyed creating the music for this piece (incorporating Veronica's evocative lyrics) and also spending some time in front of the camera, surrounded by the extremely talented Wayne McGregor dancers Rebecca Bassett-Graham, Kevin Beyer and Salvatore De Simone.You can watch the trailer here:

INTERESTING PEOPLE

Now for some musical contrast, here is my newest single (which has been released yesterday!):Interesting People is a blend of Electronica, Ambient and Synth Pop with a hint of Jazz (featuring Kevon Scott on the Sax).The song was created in collaboration with filmmaker Seb Pupino, who wrote the beautifully melancholy lyrics and will also be directing the upcoming music video."A delicate and emotionally resonant work that reflects the longing for connection in times of isolation." MY BOYS AND ALL THEIR NOISE

Finally, I'm excited to share a heartfelt short documentary I scored last year:
My Boys and All Their Noise.Inspired by his mother's beautiful poem and using digitised camcorder recordings, director Oliver Lin takes us back to his childhood, offering a glimpse into his mother's experience of raising three young sons.
